YCA offers limited back-up care for families during the school year, summertime, and school vacation weeks.

Pre-registration is required, and current physicals, LEAD Test results, and Immunization records must be presented. Once your child’s file is established, it lasts one year, allowing you to use backup care as needed.

When your child is here, they will follow the curriculum established for the classroom for activities. They will also follow the classroom schedule. You will be provided a list of items needed for the day before the day of care.

The cost varies depending on the number of days, the age of the child, and the time the child is here. A nonrefundable $50.00 administration fee is required, but no security deposit is necessary. You may use Care.com if your company works with them, OR you may do private backup care through the school directly. The ages of children eligible for back-up care are 6 months to 6 years.
